The ŠKODA Titan Series Almería will be held from 9 to 12 December 2021.

Scrutineering will take place Wednesday 8 December.

CLOSING OF REGISTRATIONS: when reaching 500 entrants or on November 11, 2021 at 1300 CEST (whichever comes first).

  • 1st RATE: € 1,290, until reaching 225 entrants or on October 20, 2021 (whichever comes first).
  • 2nd RATE: € 1,490 until sold-out or closure of registrations on November 11, 2021 (whichever comes first).

Single-event license (mandatory for non-UCI license holders) – €50 (please note that any license other than a UCI license will not be considered as valid).

CANCELLATION POLICY (included in the registration)

  • Cancellations before September 20, 2021 at 0000 CEST will be imposed a €89 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations before October 20, 2021 at 0000 CEST will be imposed a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount paid at the moment of cancellation.
  • Cancellations before November 11, 2021 at 0000 CET will be imposed a cancellation fee of 75% of the amount paid at the moment of cancellation.
  • Cancellations on November 11, 2021 at 0001 CET or later will not be entitled to any type of refund.

No refunds will apply on payments already made for services offered by the organization, such as flight tickets, bike delivery and collection service, photo pack, etc.

All registrations are nominal, personal and non-transferable. Changes on the entrant’s name will not be accepted.

 

CANCELLATION WITH MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE (OPTIONAL)

Cancellations before October 20, 2021 at 0000 CEST

No expenses will apply and 100% of all registration fees paid by the date of cancellation will be refunded to the entrant.

Cancellations between October 20, 2021 at 0001 CEST and November 11, 2021 at 0000 CET

  • 50% of all registration fees paid by the date of cancellation will be refunded to the entrant.
  • 100% of the amount paid for photography pack service and bike delivery and collection service will be refunded. No refunds will apply on payments already made for the rest of the services offered by the organization -such as flight tickets, money-back guarantee or other products- or for services provided to the entrant leading to expenses incurred by the organization.
  • Registrations are nominal, personal and non-transferable. Changes on the entrant’s name will not be accepted.

Cancellations on November 11, 2021 or later

  • No refunds will apply, except in the following case:
  • Cancellations between 1 and 15 days before the event due to COVID19-related issues will be entitled to a full refund of all registration fees and all amounts paid for products or services, provided that no expenses have been incurred by the organization when booking these products or services on behalf of the entrant. Entrants will also be given the chance of keeping the amount paid for an upcoming edition of the event

PRICE OF THE MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE IS € 89

IMPORTANT REMARK: the money-back guarantee can be purchased only during the registration process.

The organization of the event will always follow all indications set by the Spanish health authorities in addition to all measures deemed appropriate to ensure a 100% COVID-free event.

  • What happens if the event is postponed?

    If the event is postponed for whatever reason which lies beyond the event organizer responsibility and is related to COVID-19 pandemic, entrants will be informed of the new event date as soon as possible. Written communication will be sent to all entrants with confirmation of the event postponement. Entrants will be given the chance of keeping their registrations for the new event, keeping the amounts paid for upcoming editions of the event or a money refund.

  • What happens if the event is cancelled?

    If the event is cancelled for whatever reason which lies beyond the event organizer responsibility and is related to COVID-19 pandemic, written communication will be sent to all entrants with confirmation of the event cancellation. All entrants will have to send a questionnaire back to the organizer stating if the entrant opts to keep the amounts paid for upcoming editions or opts for a money refund.

  • What happens if I test positive for COVID-19 between 1 and 15 days before the event?

    In the event that an entrant is tested positive for the COVID-19 disease and the mandatory 15-day quarantine period goes beyond his planned travel date to the event, the entrant must send the positive result of the PCR test to the event organizer together with his/her decision of withdrawing from the event. Once the event is over, the organizer will contact him/her and will offer the entrant the chance of keeping both the registration and all amounts paid for an upcoming event or the chance of a money refund, provided that the entrant had purchased the money-back guarantee.

  • What happens if my place of residence is confined or if I have mobility restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic which prevent me from reaching the place of the event?

    The entrant will inform the event organizer in written of the situation which prevents him/her from reaching the place of the event and will attach a copy of all documents which prove his statement (ID showing the entrant’s place of residence and the legal statement of the confinement imposed by the local or national authority to the area or areas affecting his/her capability of reaching the place of the event). Once the event is over, the organizer will contact him/her and will offer the entrant the chance of keeping both the registration and all amounts paid for an upcoming event or the chance of a money refund, provided that the entrant had purchased the money-back guarantee.

The ŠKODA Titan Series Almería stage race is a mountain biking (MTB) endurance and orientation race run as a Challenge, meaning that participants who finish outside the time limit or drop out of a stage no more than once can start the following stage but will no longer be eligible for the general classification or any other classification.

The competition will be held from 9 to 12 December 2021 and consist of four stages held under these Rules and Regulations.
